I spent my teens and 20’s chasing the dream job. Countless hours of training. Many sleepless nights. Missing important events and time with family because I believed in that dream coming true. And it did! And it was a euphoric time.
Then after many amazing years … it was over. Just like that from one day to the next. I panicked a bit. I felt lost. So removed from all of my comfort zones. I felt like I was standing in the middle of a field with no map. No map from my agents or mentors to follow. Who am I when I’m no longer connected to that job and those people I’ve worked with for so long??
The greatest gift came when I heard a little voice deep within say “Who do you WANT to be? …Now’s your chance.”
